White Noise

“An ambitious, thrilling adaptation.” – Globe and Mail

“A self-conscious work of literature adaptation, juggling big themes and highly literate dialogue with a screwball touch.” – Associated Press

“White Noise is certainly uneven — wildly so, probably by design — but it’s also never boring, always eager to throw something new at the viewer, and it’s eager to entertain.” – New York Magazine/Vulture

Synopsis:

At once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.

Starring Academy Award Nominees Greta Gerwig and Adam Driver.

Directed by Noah Baumbach, director of Marriage Story.
