Real Art Ways Front of House Staff Member

Real Art Ways, a dynamic and innovative contemporary arts organization, with a commitment to artists and community, is seeking Front of House Staff Members to join our team.

If you are a bright, team player who is outgoing and enthusiastic about the arts and community, you’re going to love it here! We need people who can work anywhere from 15 to 30 hours per week selling tickets and memberships, controlling the cash, stocking merchandise, sanitizing equipment, cleaning the café, assisting with events and helping out wherever needed at Real Art Ways.

Applicants must be flexible and available to work weekday evenings, weekends & holidays (which is when a lot of the fun happens here anyways!)

Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Real Art Ways, a dynamic and innovative arts organization, seeks a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) position.

Responsibilities include:

• Social Media: generate content, post, and monitor on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

• Create and distribute weekly eNews

• Public Relations: Write and distribute press releases; communicate with media

• Create printed and promotional materials for internal and external display

• Monitor and manage Real Art Ways’ brand

• Organize and file images and information

• Coordinate with vendors including webmaster, graphic designers, photographers, printers, etc

• Work with colleagues to build audiences for all of Real Art Ways’ programming

Qualifications Include:

A minimum of 2 years in marketing and communications.

Positive attitude, high energy, and demonstrated work ethic.

Enthusiasm and familiarity with Real Art Ways’ work

Creativity and curiosity

Excellent written and verbal ability

Passionate about making a positive community impact

Ability to work independently and with others.

High standards for quality and detail.

Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google platforms,

Fluency with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Google+

Available evenings and weekends as necessary.

Active contributor to a positive work environment.

Executive Administration Assistant

Real Art Ways, a productive and innovative contemporary arts organization, seeks an Executive Administration Assistant to work primarily with the Executive Director and Director of Development. This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) position. The Executive Administrative Assistant will play an important role in the success and growth of Real Art Ways.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with organizational administration

• Assist in all aspects of donor relations and development efforts, including mailings, correspondence, record keeping, meetings and events

• Assist in managing grant schedule and maintaining grant records

• Lead short-term projects and initiatives

• Any additional responsibilities that will help to advance and strengthen our mission

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a professional office environment

• Ability to work well in a team

• Work well under pressure: must be able to respond gracefully in a demanding office and have the ability to employ creative and practical decision-making

• Well organized, attention to detail, flexible, embrace challenges

• Organized with high standards for quality and attention to detail

• Fluency with Word, Excel, data bases

• Understanding and acceptance of direct communication and constructive criticism

• Support of Real Art Ways’ mission

• Active contributor to a positive work environment

• Creative energy and sense of humor

Internship Opportunities

Real Art Ways offers part-time, unpaid internships during the fall and spring semester, as well as during the summer. Learning opportunities are typically available in Communications and Visual Arts, with possibilities in other departments.
