ABOUT THE MOVIE

The film “Gisela’s Legacy” is a moving personal account of Gisela Adamski, a recent graduate of Hartford High School’s Law & Government Academy, a grandmother, and a Holocaust survivor. From her childhood in Germany, to her teenage years when she was sent to a concentration camp, to the triumph of her survival and honorary graduation from high school in Connecticut, “Gisela’s Legacy” helps students to learn from the past and consider a more just future. Directed and narrated by 17-year-old Avon High School Senior Jamie McNeill.
