Hartford, Connecticut - Real Art Ways will host a reunion weekend for Real Art Ways alums, artists, and friends from near and far. The weekend will feature the best of Real Art Ways: contemporary art, music, interesting conversations and opportunities for people to meet or reconnect.

The reunion begins Thursday, October 20 with our monthly Creative Cocktail Hour. From the hours of 6-8 PM is the opening reception for Ephemeroom. Ephemeroom is an exhibition highlighting important moments and objects of Real Art Ways' history, created of relics (memorabilia, photos, ephemera) from our archive and given on loan from our faithful patrons, members and fans. Live music by Nation Beat from the hours of 8-10 PM.

Friday, October 21 at 6 PM we will have the "Realie" Awards Dinner presenting four exemplary individuals with the Realie Awards. These individuals are Denise Merrill, Howard Fromson, Henry Zachs and Pepón Osorio.

Saturday, October 22 at 12 PM will be a geo-architectural tour of buildings in Hartford given by Robert Thorson, Professor of Geology at the University of Connecticut, author of Stone by Stone and coordinator of Stone Wall Initiative: Saving New England's historic stone walls. The tour will begin and end at Carl Andre's Stone Field Sculpture.

Saturday, October 22 at 8 PM will be the first concert of our live music series presented by Steven Haynes and Joe Morris.
