WINCE
WINCE began last April as an experiment in collective humiliation. The theme was adolescence. Participants played songs from their high school band's albums, told hilarious and mortifying stories, read from diaries (paper and electronic), and found other relics from their past to share in public.
The theme this time around is “Love Hurts.” Just in time for Valentine’s Day, readers are encouraged to share tales of love that left them bruised, battered, and broken-hearted. This year, skip the cards and flowers and bask in the misery of others. As always, diaries, music, photos, etc. are welcome.
WINCE believes that everyone is a storyteller, and is open to everyone. Readers should arrive by 7:30 PM and sign up for a slot.
