WINCE: EVERYTHING'S RELATIVE

Hartford, Connecticut – Real Art Ways presents "Everything's Relative," an open-mic featuring not-so-Kodak family moments. "Everything's Relative" is strategically placed right in the middle of the holiday season on Saturday, December 5, 8 PM. Admission is free to members and those who share, $5 for everyone else. "Everything's Relative" is part of WINCE, a series of open-mics featuring photos, diaries, stories, and artifacts of embarrassment. "Everything's Relative"
Families are Mother Nature's reality show: a group of people, with relatively little in common, forced to live together in a house. Whether more Osmond or Osbourne, families are fertile ground for embarrassing, entertaining stories and artifacts.

WINCE believes that everyone is a storyteller, and is open to everyone. Participants should arrive by 8 PM and sign up for slot.

WINCE began last April as an experiment in collective humiliation and multimedia storytelling. Previously, WINCE has featured stories of adolescent embarrassment. The second WINCE asked for stores about lying, and the consequences of that lie. Participants read from diaries, played their high school band's songs, told hilarious and mortifying stories, and shared other artifacts from their past in public.
