Locating Creativity: Can Art And Innovation Revitalize Hartford?
It’s not just musicians and artists. It’s scientists and business people too. How can Hartford, the insurance capitol of the world support a creative class? What (and who) is already here – and how can we connect them? How does the greater Hartford region contribute to Hartford’s creative landscape? What are the elements of a dynamic city – and where should Hartford focus its energy? What are the city’s barriers to a bustling creative economy?

Members of the Hartford community (or anyone else with something to say) are invited to help shape the conversation at a collaborative blog, wwlatraw.blogspot.com. Contributions will influence the direction of the conversation on November 18.

Real Art Ways in Hartford
"Real Art Ways is in a vital Hartford neighborhood, and the organization benefits from Hartford’s cultural mix. A lot of what’s good about Hartford isn’t very known. This is where we live, and work, and that's ok." - Will K. Wilkins, Real Art Ways' Executive Director

dankoskyJohn Dankosky (Host, Where We Live) says:
“We take Where We Live into communities all over Connecticut, to find out what residents are talking about - but Hartford is our home base, and so it has a special place for us. We’re glad that through our partnership with Real Art Ways, we can continue an important conversation about life in this city.”
