Burnt Sugar Returns to Real Art WaysThursday, July 16, 6-10 PM (Part of Creative Cocktail Hour) Hartford, Connecticut – Real Art Ways presents Burnt Sugar on Thursday, July 16 during Creative Cocktail Hour. The group, formed in 1999, uses improvisation to explore the connective tissue binding jazz, rock, funk, twentieth-century composition, and African music. Creative Cocktail Hour is from 6-10 PM, and admission is $10/$5 for Real Art Ways members. Real Art Ways is located at 56 Arbor Street in Hartford's Parkville neighborhood. For more information, contact Real Art Ways: 860.232.1006 or realartways.org About Burnt Sugar Burnt Sugar performer Satch Hoyt is also a visual artist, and one of four artists who created new works of public art in Hartford's Parkville and Frog Hollow neighborhoods. The four projects, commisioned by Real Art Ways, are on display for the duration of summer 2009. Hoyt's piece is an interactive labyrinth in Pope Park.
