Real Art Ways' New Fundraiser: The Odd Ball
Saturday, April 4, 2009

Hartford, Connecticut – After four years of sponsoring its unique Real Party, Real Art Ways is creating a new party to talk about: It’s a ball. The Odd Ball. Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 8 PM. The Odd Ball takes its inspiration from the topsy-turvy world of Carnevale. Guests will arrive in costume, artists will body paint models, and surprises will be around every corner. Ticket information is below. Proceeds support Real Art Ways’ programs. Real Art Ways is located at 56 Arbor Street in Hartford’s Parkville neighborhood.

The Odd Ball will feature a smorgasbord of spectacle and surprises, including:

  • Body art: Artists painting on live models under the direction of Agostino Arts.

  • Artist and DJ Xaviera Simmons at the turntable.

  • Food Bazaar featuring a bevy of international favorites.

  • Roving Gypsy Raven reading palms and telling fortunes.

  • The Final Four on the big screen (yes, you read that correctly).

  • Photo artistry by Steven Laschever Photography.

  • The wildly talented Frank Everhart, Close-up Magician.
