In 2006, Real Art Ways presented DISH: the inside scoop on eating out, featuring a discussion and tasting with the area’s most outstanding chefs and restaurateurs. This time we will feature a selection of top-notch Front of House staff from some of Hartford’s best restaurants.
Rand Richards Cooper of Bon Appetit will moderate the panel and lead a discussion about the hospitality side of the industry: forming relationships with customers, dealing with cranky guests, creating an atmosphere, and everything else that goes into creating a perfect Front of House experience, including stories of some not-so-perfect moments. In addition to the discussion, each participating restaurant will provide a dish for the pre-discussion tasting.
Joining Rand Richards Cooper will be:
-
Dan Meiser of Firebox
-
Courtney Febbroriello, author of Wife of the Chef and co-owner of Metro Bis
-
Brian Smith, Greater Hartford's Best Bartender, Max's Oyster Bar
-
Paul Kelly, Carbone's Restaurant
-
LB Muñoz, Real Art Ways
-
Steven Abrams, managing partner for Max Downtown.
