Accounts Payable/Administrative Clerk

Real Art Ways has an opening for a part time (25-30 hours/week) Accounts Payable / Administrative Clerk.

Responsibilities include:
• day to day Accounts Payable activities
• annual 1099 preparation
• assist with annual audit
• back-up for Payroll and Cash Receipts
• maintaining filing systems
• general reception duties
• managing office supplies

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in AP
• 2 or 4 year degree in Accounting preferred
• Excellent Computer Skills:
• QuickBooks Pro required
• MS Word & Excel required
• FileMaker 9 preferred
• Experience with both Mac & PC preferred
• Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Able to meet deadlines
• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative

Membership Coordinator


Real Art Ways has a part-time opening (20 hours/week) for a Membership Coordinator.

Responsibilities: Acknowledge donations made to Real Art Ways and work with other staff members on member/donor solicitation campaigns. Organize periodic Members' Only events. Assist Individual Giving Manager in identifying and researching potential donors and updating database. Develop and maintain relations with members as appropriate. Responsible for all aspects of membership, including:

  • renewal mailings
  • gift tracking
  • acknowledgement letters & membership cards
  • mailings to new members
  • gift memberships
  • reports and member lists as needed for acknowledgement and strategic planning purposes


Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience, be well organized, and pay close attention to detail. Facility with Mac and FileMaker Pro a must. Ease with technology and proficiency with MS Office a plus.
