Laura Nova
Limited Run

[visit limitedrunproject.com]

Take an absurdist loop on an infinite mini racetrack.
Inspired by the artist’s endurance training using the recreational paths and race courses of New York City, Limited Run enacts an indoor track constructed within the confines of the gallery walls. Visitors are encouraged to run or walk around the looped spectacle. A fire bell rings at each completed 20-meter lap.

Residency:
Laura Nova is in residence for the first two weeks of June. In addition to organizing races with community members, Laura is using the track for her own running regimen. Videos of past events are available on limitedrunproject.com.

About the Artist

included in exhibitions internationally and she is a recent recipient of the Fund for Creative Communities and the Manhattan Community Arts Fund Grant. Laura currently lives and works on the Lower East Side of New York City.
