Drawing from an eclectic musical background that encompasses traditional rhythms and styles from Brazil, this group is inspired by its familiarity with a fresh jazz vocabulary, and gains new vitality when performing through a contemporary lens that allows for an organic and improvisational approach. A further confirmation of Rogerio Boccato’s inventive vision can be seen in the incorporation of another element in this concert, one that transcends the realm of music. Along with the musical performance, artist Daniel Boccato will be creating a visual atmosphere with projections and other devices, that will at once enhance the whole experience of this spectacle and also speak back to the musicians, crafting a two-way dialogue between art and music.
