Our concert kicks off the Marco Benevento Trio's Northeast tour, featuring songs from the album Invisible Baby. In Invisible Baby, Benevento's jazz-influenced jams are acoustically centered on his piano, but Benevento is well-known for using unconventional sounds in his compositions: he's used everything from a pump organ to a Speak N' Spell. The trio brings together three musicians with fearless improvisational chops who push the boundaries of post-jazz experimentation.
