Readings from Dirty Words: A Literary Encyclopedia of Sex

Seven noted contemporary authors will read their entries from Dirty Words: A Literary Encyclopedia of Sex, edited by Ellen Sussman, to be released on June 10.

The book is an alphabetical listing of more than 100
formally defined, and further explained, entries by notable contemporary writers. Entries include everything from celibacy to promiscuity, sexual positions and aids, age-old practices and contemporary twists (cybersex). Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing at the event.

Writers who will read their entries include: Dan Pope, Rand Cooper, Ravi Shankar, Mary-Ann Tirone Smith, Lawrence Douglas, Thaisa Frank and Sam Brumbaugh,

Ellen Sussman is the bestselling author of On a Night Like This and editor of the anthology, Bad Girls. She lives in Los Altos Hills, California.
