Held on the second Wednesday of each month, Inescapable Rhythms is a poetry reading and open mic series organized by Andrea Henchey.
At Inescapable Rhythms, a guest poet gives a half hour reading. Then members of the audience are invited to share their work.
This month's guest poet is Kristin Bock.
Kristin Bock holds an MFA from the University of Massachusetts where she currently teaches. Her poems have appeared in many literary magazines and journals, including Columbia, Pleiades, Prairie Schooner, The Black Warrior Review, and FENCE. She lives with her husband, artist Geoffrey Kostecki, in Montague, Massachusetts where they refurbish liturgical art for churches throughout New England. She is also a contributing editor to the literary magazine, Bateau. Bock's debut collection of poetry, Cloisters, won Tupelo Press's First Book Award and the da Vinci Eye Award.
