Inescapable Rhythms

Held on the third Wednesday of each month, Inescapable Rhythms is a poetry reading and open mic series.

Ian Haley Pollock is the featured poet this month. Pollock lives in Philadelphia and teaches English at Springside-Chestnut Hill Academy. Spit Back a Boy (U. of Georgia Press, 2011), his first collection of poems, won the 2010 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. In addition, his work has appeared in American Poetry Review, Boston Review and Callaloo.
