Ben Tyree's improvisational, sci-fi/jazz/funk trio project, BT3, incorporates Coltrane-esque melodies, funk-derived rhythm, and chord voicings not typical to guitar arrangements. Formed in 2009, BT3 continues to astonish audiences with their unique style of instrumental and improvisational jazz/funk fusion. The group is currently working on their first studio album, slated for release in late 2010.
