With the recent interest in the post-war Madison Ave advertising (a la AMC's Mad Men), the A/V Geeks are proud to present some of their favorite advertising and sales films.
Some of the films, like Kodak's Movies Move People and Hamilton Beach's Comprehending Blending - realize the potential of motion pictures as a tireless yet effective sales tools and are stunning examples to behold.
Others, like the newsreel-like press releases from Monsanto look informational and news-worthy on the surface but have a sales pitch buried within.
And finally some films, like Sear's Freeze-In, are curiosities leaving us to wonder how such a train wreck of a film could be made.
Master showman Skip Elsheimer will be screening some never-before-seen gems, including the baffling Half-Humanoid Presentation and more!
